He has been on staff for a number of years and always gives me insight that a lot of folks simply don't have.
He was telling me that at today's scrimmage there were a number of players who were able to put their talents on full display while others still have some work to do. There were times when the offense made some plays and then, surprisingly, there were also some times when the defense made some plays.
He went into great detail about our special teams and said that he was hoping they would make some improvements as they continue to play the game of football.

Ok he just texted me back.
He thought that Cade played well overall but did feel he could continue to make some improvements as he continues to play the game of football.
Interestingly enough, sounds like Will Heldt is definitely a guy who could make some plays throughout this football season.
I found this the most shocking about Adam. He texted me "I could definitely see this guy getting yards and scoring some touchdowns as the 2025 football season progresses."

Wow… great insider information.
Please don’t ask him anything else tonight as I know he (or she) is tired after a long day on the sidelines. Don’t want to overuse your souce. I may really need to get some injury updates this season.
On second thought, one more thing….Wesco’s weight. 190, 191, or 192 after the scrimmage?
And that’s it for me. At least until Troy prep week (unless already started).

I waited until the morning to shoot him a text since he was up most of the night explaining the scrimmage to me in great detail.
I thought this quote was interesting regarding Wesco: "It appears Wesco weighs more than he did when he was a younger American male before his commitment to the Clemson University Men's Football Fellowship in Clemson, South Carolina."
Any other questions? I want to make sure we get all of this out of the way so he can eat lunch with his family in peace.

Great question! He was basically going into great detail about some of his observations and insights as to our punting, field goal protection, field goal kicking (both within 45 yards and beyond). It was really interesting to hear his perspective!

We easily could win the toss, but I have seen so many times when we don't win. That said, I think our season comes down to the coin toss vs LSU wither way.

This is just conjecture, but more than likely if he works at the Mint he knows more about mastering the coin toss and possible results than let's say, a political cartoonist possibly. So I do value his opinion on Clemson and the LSU game.
