Lots of street flooding in Beaufort and Jasper Counties.
A couple of bridges washed out in Jasper and Hampton Counties.
A tornado hit Edisto Beach earlier.
At one time something like 40% of Hilton Head Island lost power but it's mostly back on.
Several houses near the wetlands in my neighborhood had water inside.
Lots of trees down pretty much everywhere here.
It's not as bad as Hurricane Matthew so far, but it's not good.
At least 24 more hours of rain. Most of the wind is gone.

Tornado hit in Moncks Corner. Things are lightly flooding in all areas. Ground is saturated to the point that my septic isnt working currently and I'm in Summerville area.

I am in goose creek area north of Charleston. We have gotten 8 - 10 inches of rain and forecasted to get 10 more. Ground is very saturated, but thankfully no damage to anyone close by that i am aware of.

I 95 south of walterboro is a river. Charleston flooded in the usual spots. Water is receded in most places now. Tomorrow will be round two.

The road that I take to work every day is about to wash out, less than a mile from my house. It’s weird. Some spots look the same as a light rain, others are holding the most water I’ve ever seen on them.

About 10 miles inland of Edisto Beach. Most of that came down yesterday and during the night. It's been light today.

On IOP we got about 10 inches. Been pretty quiet today (Tuesday). Last night though it was rough. A water spout/small tornado did some damage on 25th street to trees and one house.

from Charleston to Seneca an hour ago. First challenge was yesterday flying in to Charleston from Toronto. It was very iffy and many other flights were cancelled, but we made it- no real issues. Then, since the mayor shut down Charleston city, we were afraid we couldn't get to downtown, but we got in under the 11 PM curfew. Not sure how they would've enforced it anyway. With city still "shut down" we bypassed a couple of barricades and hit I26 around noon. A LOT of hard rain on the way, all the way through till about Newberry. Then, 85 degrees and sunny till Seneca.
