Just because the shamecocks have beaten us the last 4 years does not change the dominance over the last 100 years. I've lost 12 pounds over the last month, but that does not make me a fitness guru. I've started making decent money over the last few years, but that does not make me a millionaire.

Just because the $EC has won the NC 7 years straight does not mean they can't be knocked off their pedestal. Of the previous 7 years, the $EC only won one NC. Other leagues have won, and Clemson will get it this year.

Just because you play in the $EC does not mean you are a contributor for their recent success. I visited the White House one time, that does not make me the president.

Just because we beat LSU in the bowl game last season, does not guarantee a win against ugay this Saturday. We will need to be hitting on all cylinders in all 14 games this season.

BUT...

Just because ugay dominated us last time we played in 2003, does not mean we can't win this time. Just because they are from the mighty $EC doesn't mean we can't dominate them on Saturday. Just because the 2008 opener stunk, does not mean it will happen again.

Why?

Just because we have Boyd, Watkins, Bryant, Humphries, Peake, Hot Rod, Brooks, our OL, DL, LBs, Blanks, Peters, Robinson, Breeland, Jenkins, Dabo, Brent, and the Chad.

Just because this is a different team with a different attitude. Just because we have better leadership. Just because we have playmakers EVERYWHERE. Just because this is THE DEATH VALLEY. Just because this is CLEMSON.

I'M FREAKING JACKED FOR THIS SEASON!! LET'S GO!!! SPOT THE FREAKING BALL!!! ALL IN, ALL THE FREAKING TIME!!!!
