That is news to me as well. Assumed they were NCAA balls, period. Just had school logos.

They were talking about this in one of the games earlier this year that it was essentially dumb that there wasn’t an official bball (Wilson) until the NCAA tourney. We use Nike, some schools like GT use adidas, etc.
it’s crazy to think they don’t have an official ball that must be used.

Nike and Addidas have there own ball while almost all other schools use Wilson. The Nike ball and Wilson have a similar feel but the Adidas ball definitely is a little odd
