Although he was an unpopular present, Jimmy Carter is a humanitarian and a global thinker. I have a lot of respect for the man. He corrected a deep wrong we committed toward the people of present day Panama, something that goes overlooked. He was criticized for his actions, because doing the right thing isn’t always the popular thing.
