Here's a prime example of what a $35million NIL package can do for your program. He was barely .500 overall at Texas A&M. At one point, I even believe that he had a record number of 5* recruits. Whenever that didn't work, he went to the portal for support. Obviously, NIL and portal doesn't solve the issues that most programs face.

Building a solid program based upon loyalty, passion, motivation, development, dedication, solid morals, and a will to win usually produces a championship caliber team. It takes patience because the development takes time, and players develop at different rates. Once a program finds their rhythm then there's a run of success for several years. Such has been the proven history of this Clemson Football program under the leadership of Dabo Swinney.

The players that Clemson currently has on their roster can and will more than likely develop into a championship team. The coaches that Clemson has will continue to improve under Dabo Swinney's leadership which in turn creates continuity and loyalty to the program. Dabo currently has 3 coaches on his roster that have extensive experience in coaching. Not only that, but they have leadership qualities that will improve the inexperienced coaches. The experienced coaches will end up retiring and those who have developed along the way will decide to remain at the program and dedicate their talents to improving the program at Clemson. This is what is known as longevity planning. Sure, you'll have a season or two where things just don't meet up to the expectations at Clemson, but in the long run, you'll have a few more trophies to place in the cupboards at Clemson.

but we should remember that Covid destroyed two years worth of very important on-campus recruiting since our lovely Campus, top of the line Football Facilities & 2-time Natty Champ Coach Dabo are our recruiting gems.

WE Are Fine and next 2-3 years are very promising..

Bill, I agree with you that it requires much patience from the fans. In fact, I'd say it requires much more because the coaches "KNOW" what their future holds because they know what they have. We have to wait to find out. I honestly believe that if the turnovers didn't kill our victories we would be in the playoff discussion again. As far as Nick and Kirby go, I don't believe they do things correct or honestly. Dabo is as honest as it gets in this business, and nobody can take that integrity away from the program.

As for Tyler, well.... I consider Paul Finebaum to be far more annoying and cannot wait to see him melt down for the next 5 seasons or so.
