Anybody listen to Brett Jensen in Charlotte on the drive in?

He has such a hatred for all things Clemson since CUTigers fired him. He is unlistenable.
He sang Spurriers praises this morning and ripped CDS.
I went to HS with him. He was a gigantic, cocky jerk there; so I'm not suprised.

yea i heard him, i had to turn the radio off and listen to something else. WFNZ needs to fire him. How could you obviously be so bias on the radio

become an unoficial #### booster station. Since Selena started calling himself Super Rooster, QCB has been given a more prevelent role, and Jensen constantly rips Clemson (and UGA who also fired him) all the while praising USuC.
I believe it stems from two factors; Pac Man leaving the station for Sirius and the new rival station picking up Clemson sports as part of their broadcasting package. When that happened, there was a shift, not just away from Clemson, but away from the ACC. They obviously became a USuC station at that point.

Qcb is worse. Overall Charlotte isn't bad but the Packman is by far the best we ever had. And QCB is by far the worst.

i agree QCB is bad, but atleast he lets it know that he is a coot. Jensen tries to act like he is a nuetral reporter, but his so obviously bias its not funny. He needs to atleast man up and admit he is a gamecock fan.

Jensen is the worst. That whole station blows, even when Packer was on air. The new afternoon show was bragging about how it was ranked #64 in the country. Charlotte is one of the 20 largest metro areas in the country with two major sports teams; #64 is pathetic.

15 years, I have listened to WFNZ since the days before Gary and Jim were leading the morning show.
All I can say is that you guys are trying way to hard to see a bias against Clemson and for USC here.
And for the record... Brett Jensen has never played favorites for USC. That sentiment alone takes credibility away from the claims. He's certainly not the only guy in media that enjoys seeing Spurrier step up to a microphone. He's in media, and Spurrier loves to give sound bites. That doesn't mean they are biased. If you have never heard Jensen rip into USC... then you can't make a case either way because you clearly have not listened to him enough.
As for Dabo, Brett has admittedly ripped Dabo since the post USC game tirade last fall. But again, he's not alone in that assessment either.
Believe me when I tell you though... a CLT based radio station, playing to their audience, isn't going to spend a lot of time talking about USC or Clemson.

you are wrong sir. He was on the air today talking about how UGA has a patty cake schedule and then proceeded to say that yalls game at LSU Florida and Vandy will be brutal. Ill give you LSU and maybe Florida but VANDY? We all know he is a gamecock homer when he says a game at Vandy will be brutal.

During one of our trips to Vegas a few years back I saw a guy wearing a Charlotte Sports Journal (another of Brett Jensen's previous jobs) polo shirt at Margaritaville.
I say hey are you from Charlotte? Work for the journal? He says "Yeah, I own it."
I say "Cool. You must know Brett Jensen pretty well then huh?"
He says... "Yeah... Brett's my boy."
I say... "Really... That surprising considering he's a complete ####."
That ended the conversation. But I'd probably had a few drinks too.

around. You guys may (quite literally) own Rock Hill (and Clowney and his dad) but if you drive around Charlotte for any length of time you will see lots of NC Clemson license plates and Clemson stickers. I have never seen a NC Gamecock license plate - is there even one?
I see as many Clemson stickers and plates in Charlotte as UNC, if not more.

yes... there is a South Carolina tag for NC cars. I see them all the time. Not that one should judge the size of a fanbase population on car tags and bumper stickers. LOL.
ARMSB - I'm not one to defend brett jensen. But I also know better than to perpetuate a false idea just because he isn't well liked.
He's an ass-bag. But he's certainly not biased towards one school to forsake another. And neither is WFNZ. Why do you think people on both sides of the fanbase hate Jensen??
That probably just means he is doing his job.

But to suggest that "both fanbases hate him" so he can't possibly be biased to usc is just wrong. You guys have been saying the same thing for years about Kornblutt, but he is CLEARLY a cockfan. Perhaps Jenson could be as well. I don't know.
