Yet again, a coach is fired after losing to the coots. This is a common occurance in collefe football, and perhaps all sports.

I don’t see Riley giving up the chance to call plays for Cade, with it going to be his 3rd yr in his system.
Cades jump from his 1st to 2nd is crazy, can’t imagine what the jump will be in the 3rd.

Agreed, and with his brother leaving the way he did, I feel like there could be some bad blood there (i.e., there’s no way the boosters green light Venables to hire Garrett)

Why the portal sucks. A school and team can spend a lot of time, effort, and money on a player, then he finishes somewhere else. I guess it can work both ways.

I like the Duke OC he brought in. He’s got good talent to work with and has proven he can sculpt an OK QB into a very good one. Just needs some protection. I’m hoping they turn it around

Riley is having a very good second year at Clemson. And he did great at TCU two years ago. Scott as WR coach, yes.

Losing Lebby hurts for sure. Hard to fire new OC when most of your first and second wr are hurt. If you do fire him might be even harder to hire a quality replaced when they see how the previous one was fired.

job will be on the line and dramatic improvement needed. They need so much offensively, will need someone who can attract transfers, as they'll need a bunch.
That's not Jeff Scott. Morris could fit, though Brent was not a fan of his tempo as a defensive coach.

jeff Scott is a horrific HC, but maybe better at OC, and that's where he should stay.

Litrell is not a bad coach. In his defense, OU has been killed with injuries at WR and OL. Their QB is not good either.
