The difference is the NFL actually has concrete set rules and there is no voting. We really do need to have the power 5 combine and maybe even kick out teams like Rutgers, Vanderbilt, etc and have one big conference or two big conferences and make NFL type rules. Win and you’re in.

and you're in the CFP. Not in your conference championship (O310 St), too bad. If the team has 5 losses but still conference champion, they're still in.
