I hope he will get himself together and find a purpose for his life. He still has a lot of good people pulling for him.

Does he get a felony? If so, it's life sentence. I hope he isn't saddled with that.

Not three years probation, there's more to it.

He has a suspended sentence in exchange for three years probation. Meaning if he does not follow the terms of said probation he'll go to jail for up to the full six years.
This tells me he was not a "major player" in the crime, had no prior criminal history, and made a deal to plead guilty and become a witness for the state.
Regardless, this will be with him forever. I hope he finds his path and God leads him to his potential.

Guy that’s still living got basically the same thing- this is not uncommon for what are otherwise good people that make a bad mistake first time and are youthful offenders

find it hard to believe that this is common for armed robbery committed in the act of a home invasion and forced entry.
Don't get me wrong, I am genuinely glad this had been resolved this way, and wish only the best for Jadar, but your statement about this being a common punishment for such a crime is scary. And I might add, that I don't doubt for a minute that you know what you are talking about.

Wasn't a drug dealer. They were trying to take back personal property.

So who was that d*ck head yesterday that started a thread and said he was acquitted? People need to take a test before they are allowed to become Clemson fans.

Exactly. Sounds like he didn't get much of a deal. He avoids jail time, but I would rather have the jail time over a felony. Either way, he was far from acquitted.

If he fulfills all of his obligations he can have his record expunged after 5 years. Hopefully he will be able to do that

Just a lesser charge of common law robbery - big difference - also under youthful offender act- will work like PTI if he keeps his nose clean while on probation

commit robbery= lose a hand
Molest children= get your ###### cut off with dull boxcutter
1st degree murder= hung day after trial in town square
Guilty of Liberalism= tied to 2 horses going in opposite directions
Crime instantly goes down the next day

Knowing you can't break into someone apartment and steal from them . . having a hard time understanding this is a mistake. You think he didn't know? And Martavis stopped smoking weed. Not a mistake. Maybe he won't do it again because he sees he is not invincible. That is best I see you can hope for. Fear of jail time.
