Dabo and Brad relationship

Does anyone know if these two ever hangout or support one another? I know in Brad’s early years Dabo gave a lot of praise to Brad. I don’t remember it ever being reciprocated. Brad seems to be jealous of all the attention being on football, and I can’t remember the last time our hall of fame football coach talked about Brad ball.

I have seen Dabo at BB games at Littlejohn. Does anyone know if Brad ever goes to football games in the Valley?

He's in the middle of coaching a game

What indication is there in that video that he doesn't like Riley being there? Looks to me like he's just pacing up and down the sideline like usual. Brad, like most other coaches, doesn't usually look "happy" in the middle of a game when he's focused on managing his team. As you can see in the video, the players are already getting back out onto the floor and play is about to resume immediately, so naturally he's gonna be locked in on the game and watching his players' positioning prior to the ball being inbounded. He's focused on doing his job, did you expect him to smile and clap for Riley instead of being focused on coaching in the middle of a game? Against Duke no less. If you don't like Brownell, there are plenty of legitimate criticisms to be made of his coaching. But this is an extremely disingenuous argument with no valid evidence to back it up.

I would doubt there is any jealousy bc they are two totally different sports. IMO, I think it would be harder to win a Basketball NC than a FB NC. Basketball teams have to win a lot of games to win a BB national championship starting with the conference championship, then playing your way through the NCAA tournament to the final two and winning that last game in a Basketball National Championship!!!!

Football teams have to win nearly EVERY game. There’s a reason there are only 3 active coaches with Natties.

I have been around both of them on several occasions and have never had reason to believe that there was friction between them. They seem very supportive of each other and the soccer coach as well. Don’t try to start nonsense with foolish post like this. This is Clemson!

Yes, I know Brad and Noonan have a very good relationship. I remember Mike coming on tigercalls with Brad in '21 shortly before they won the quarterfinal against Oregon State in route to winning the national championship. Brad basically interviewed Mike about the game, and I thought it was a very entertaining segment. It seemed like they had good rapport with each other. Mike also talks briefly about Brad in his interview after the national championship game this past fall. I've heard one or both of them mention that they have a special bond with each other because they were both hired the same year. I also remember once many years ago seeing a video where Mike actually had Brad come in to help work with the soccer team for a practice to help teach them how to play zone defense, which was very cool to see. Multiple Clemson head coaches have also talked about how they all have a group chat with each other, and I've heard many of them have emphasize that they have a good relationship and they're all fans of each other's teams.

They are friends and do support one an other. Coach Brownell does attend football games. Coach Dabo attends basketball games.
People really need to STOP trying to create drama. FFS go find a hobby.

When he got home at 1 a.m. in the morning after the win at Chapel Hill, his neighbor had a beverage waiting for him. He did not mention Dabo by name, but Dabo lives across the street.

I'm not sure, but I think every time Brad loses a game, he mentiones in his press conference that Dabo lost to Duke and has been very disappointing the past few years ...... or do I have him mixed up with someone else?

All I know is that Dabo is on the decline while Brownell is on the rise. Not sure if there's any correlation.
