football. The videos are great. Show them after the alma matter however. Please please please move the Orange Bowl march back to when the buses arrive at the top of the hill and let it feed right into the cannon and the fight song.
The sequence now is as awkward as a blind date for breakfast.

They have greatly overthought it. It is a mess. I do not think they will fix this season though. Too much time invested in it.

YEAH, some college marketing type that has idea of what tradition means, the same people who make today's TV Commercials! I believe it's called the dumbing of America!

"Overthought" and "mess" are spot on.
And you may be right, they may not fix it this season, but there's no reason they can't. There's no serious investment in running in trickled formation and a digital song and video being piped in. It's not like they couldn't contact the band director and a few media folks over the next few weeks and re-tool things.
I just wonder if they'll fix it at all.

Actually I don't mind the break between Orange Bowl March/ band forming the tunnel and Tiger Rag for the hype video. Kind of makes sense, I just can't stand that tired "We will Rock You" song just before Tiger Rag. That song has been overplayed at every school in the country for decades. Nothing unique to Clemson about it.

It lost some of the luster when they quit running down in a tighter formation. So spread out that it has lost its effectiveness of a great entrance.

flyovers, too!!! I would love to see just a couple of Chinook's at this point. But, to your point...the entrance is not as awesome as it used to be, screwing with tradition. Rile the stadium up with Christian Wilkins in the video, Orange Bowl March, Boom with the cannon and Tiger Rag!! Imo, that's one thing that didn't need to be fooled with.
He!!, at least they seemed to have buried the obnoxious "It's 3rd Down"!!!

Sitting and waiting for the team to run down the hill on Saturday, I felt that the piped-in music and other pre-game hype encroached on the anticipation of the hill run - it just all ran together and the hill run looked like an unnecessary afterthought.
There's just too much going on during that pre-entrance part.
