How blindly partisan are you?

Unfortunately, we only have 2 real choices in American politics: Pub/Right, or Dem/Left. That forces most of us to choose one side or the other when we vote.
Taking each individual issue separately and on it's own, irrespective of the other side, do you honestly support everything your "side" does, both privately and publicly, or do you feel you must support and defend it no matter what, even if you don't agree with it?
When was the last time you disagreed with your side, and spoke out in opposition?

My views align with Libertarian the most. I don't agree with any party wholly.
I mainly vote R, but in each election I'll vote R, D, L, and I. Just depends on the candidate and the position.

function and purpose of government is to protect our individual rights and freedoms. This has almost always resulted in me voting pub, last prez election aside, where I could not in good conscience vote for either candidate.

And sees the other side as partisan fools.They see themselves as politically more intelligent, morally based and true American Patriots.
In short the other side is partisan and stupid but I am not because I am always right… maybe left …. no independent … or just watching the show.

I used to be almost strictly Republican. And since 2016, I've been almost strictly Democrat.
I personally think that the Dems are too entrenched in defending the status quo institutions that they've built. I also think the Republicans have veered into becoming supportive of authoritarianism & scornful of Democracy.
Of the two parties, the Republicans are more dangerous.
I recommend to anyone that wants to stay grounded and humble....occasionally listen to some Libertarians. Most Libertarians see the insanity in both sides, even if they themselves are insignificant in numbers in the US.
I wish there was a third party that could truly exercise power, and help bridge the divide. But right now, there are only two real choices in terms of elections.

I think at the moment, they're both trash. The Dems are completely incompetent and have no real plan for America nor good leadership. The Pubs have a plan and it's absolutely malicious and sinister and anti-American. So you're either choosing the imbeciles or villains.
Moderate independents are stuck in this conundrum; I align more Libertarian Party than anything, but I have a laundry list of criticisms there, so I there's no blind partisan. But if someone wants to say I'm blind partisan to calling out the BS of both these parties, and the evil of Trumpism, I'll wear that hat.
