It's WAAAAAAY Past Time For The ACC To Move Clemson

to the Coastal Div. and put either GT or VT in the Atlantic Div. The two best teams in the ACC should not be in the same Div. That foolishness results in one of the best teams being left out of the ACCCG.

Y'all act like this has been this way for 10 years. Clemson and Florida St haven't been this good at the same time until the last couple years. Things change over time. How many years has the ACC champ came from the coastal division? The Techs ran this league for a while. What do you want to do, change divisions every time someone else steps up?

I would rather see what I call fluid divisions.
That would allow the divisions to be created by performance every year, rather than being predetermined.
That way, the best 2 teams will play in the championship game every year.

Only if teams replicated results from year to year which

definitely does not always happen. VT has the best league record in 2011 and was a turd in 2012. We probably still would've had Clemson and FSU in the same division last year using your method. It would have worked this year though.

This is not just an issue with the ACC.
Alabama & Auburn (or LSU) are likely the best 2 teams in the SEC this year IMO.
I think most people would much rather see either team play in the championship game than watch Missouri or South Carolina.
Fluid Divisions (and regional conferences) would make college football much better IMO. I think it would be much easier to let the cream rise to the top and keep historic/traditional rivalries. (while adding new ones)

If you do that, then you can't have 2 ACC teams in the NC game because one of them will have a late loss.

That's what fluid divisions (based on performance) would do.

of the time since the league split into divisions the Atlantic has been the turd half of the league routinely sending 8-4/9-3 type teams with 2-3 ACC losses to the title game.
Realigning divisions like that is short sighted.

how about we just beat WHOEVER is in our divison and win the acc championship game and PROVE on the field we are the best. I know this is a very novel idea but I think we need to quit trying to justify a loss and just admit we got blown out at home and are not the best team in our own division. we need to be more realistic and less delusional about fsu. to ever be the BEST we have to beat the teams we play, and if we lose, learn to admit it and live with it. ok, maybe live with it 5 out of 10 times.

They can't keep rearranging the divisions based on who's hot

right now. It wasn't that long ago that VA Tech was winning the ACC repeatedly. If you move us over there and they get hot again, then we are right back where we started.
