We will not lose to UGA. They lose almost their entire Defense. Their O will be good but D will but very suspect.

Boy,do you have a lot to learn. Allthough the scheduled dates are still to be determined apparently our next game after UGA will be S.C.State in the Valley. You lose to the Dawgs bad enough you may not see the top 10 again till you host FSU. Second of all there are only a few teams in the country that can play for it all with one loss, and Clemson ain't one of them. Just win out. Please tell that to Steve Spurrier whose Gamecocks will be looking to hand us our fifth straight loss for only the first time ever ,and we have to go there. And finally what do the Dawgs have anything to do with us winning the ACC? Suggestion. Before posting again it might help to if you thought things out a little bit more.

sit there and say clemson can't go to the mnc with 1 loss. you have no more credentials to say that than the op (or me, or 99% of the other t-netters) who you try to slam. you need to think a little, too, before you let your dislike for dabo reflect in your posts.

and the media isn't going to turn down undefeated urban meyer. Hopefully, they are better than this year because they got lucky in 3-4 games. Otherwise, it will be the 3rd or 4th freebie for the sec against TOSU. If we can go undefeated, we might get that freebie.

undefeated Bama, or UF, or Texas A&M. All of those will be ranked ahead of us in September (along with UGA). We can eliminate UGA, and Bama vs A&M will eliminate another. The SEC title game would solve a possible UF/Bama or A&M battle of unbeatens, but who in the heck is going to beat Ohio State?
Their schedule is crap again next year, just like this year. Maybe, just maybe, they will play two top 20 teams in 2013, no top 10. Hopefully, if there are three undefeated teams, our BCS ranking will be higher than Ohio State.

It's theoretically possible, yes
Jan 13, 2013, 1:44 PM
|
|
But statistically unlikely. It would require a whole bunch of other things to happen, like:
+ We'd have to win out, and win out big + Every other team in the country losing once + Certain teams would have to get their one loss late in the season + Certain teams would have to lose twice + The rest of our ACC opponents would have to have a shockingly good season--and really, do you see this happening? I don't.
All that being said, a loss early in the season is definitely better than a loss late in the season. SCar will likely be a top-10 team by the time we play them (just look at their schedule this year--softest in years), and beating them at home would (assuming we're already undefeated) solidify us as a top 5 team if not better.

Time. Uga loses to us the drop 2 spots. It's happened too many times for me to think otherwise.
We have to win all and convincingly to get a shot. A two loss sec team would get the nod over a one loss acc team

We had a high preseason ranking and still finished behind 7 teams with 2 loses in the final BCS poll at the end of November. The weak ACC holds us down.
