Feel like it would be better if one was up top. Just really don’t understand the purpose of co/defensive coordinators if they are both gonna be on the field.

I think you’re missing the point. It’s just kind of redundant to have both of your defensive coordinators standing on the sideline.

I think they Swinney sent Hall upstairs to call down what he is seeing so Conn could be in WGs ear. I think I read that this week.

Hall moved to the booth snd Conn came down to sideline. This started last week against CSU. My theory is that Wes is engaged with the booth analysis and they need someone who can better motivate the players at the sideline. I bet eventually we see Wes go back to the booth once they iron out how they want to get the plays called to players on the field.
