The ACC gets forced closer to negotiating a settlement after Judge Cooper denies both of their motions. The discovery motion they lose is what they and ESPN want no part of. They will appeal to Florida appellate court where they will lose.

You are probably right. The question is...

.... how long will it take for the appeal to be denied and then appealed to FL supreme court and for them to hear the case and issue a judgment? How long can ACC/ESPN delay discovery while they try to work out an out of court settlement?

I'll watch in the afternoon.

In the grand scheme of things nothing important will happen tomorrow.

Judge Cooper is not going to dismiss the case. The only questions are

1. How much discovery will he allow?
2. What will the ACC do to slow down the discovery? (i.e. how quickly will they appeal his decision not to stay discovery.)

Then, I'll look forward to what the attorneys who are following the case explain to me what really happened and what is probably going to happen next.
