If he plays even moderately well and their D comes thru with a couple of three/outs early on, it's gonna be a rout because they know what the rest of the world knows by now: Clemson isnt resilient anymore.
Meanwhile, Clemson's WRs will not get separation and instead of running or throwing it away, Klubnik will force bad throws. And he hasnt shown he can make the big ones.
Problem is he has to force it, because Shipotle doesnt scare anyone with his fighting for yards theatrics.
The fact that he's even having to fight for yards shows how unremarkable he is.
Mafah has looked better but Riley er Dabo cant be counted on to use common sense.
This is just an unremarkable team, the natural byproduct of unremarkable coaching.
Prolly gonna be Clemson's worst home loss in a decade.
The game where FSU goes back to being good ol' FSU and Clemson goes back to being good ol' Clemson.

But I dont think we'll be dormats in the SEC.
Granted - youre correct in the unspoken assertion the SEC is a superior conference. It certainly isnt like we're joining you people in the lowly and fading ACC.
So it wont be easy.
But we have two things Clemson dont got:
Money. Lots and lots and lots and looooots of money. And realism - NiL and the portal are in full bloom.
So I like our chances. I like Sarkisian.
But heres where I add value to this little purple and orange echo chamber:
I lived through the Mack Brown era.
He got too big to fire. Or even doubt.
And noone would question his moves.
Everybody living on faded glory, "remembering when" all the time.
This program looks a lot like that program. And boosterd want results, not soundbites about "culture."
When shipotle stood and yelled at his coach from the field and still got to stay on the field ... flashbacks to the end of Browns tenure.
Bad hires (Manny Diaz ... for obe) coddled players, too much aw shucks cliche crap from the coach, poor results on the field.

I go to most games.
I even go "woo-hoo" sometimes.
But that dont mean Im blind to the obvious fact that Clemson's a shadow of what they were just a couple years ago.
FSU'll be the only team out there manana that hasnt soiled the sheets against Duke, or who played so bad against CSU they basically fell out of the T25.
Im a Longhorn who married into a Clemson family who has no dog in the fight as far as lil ol Clemson, so I calls it as I sees it. No purple glasses here, no Dabo worship.

While I can be critical and skeptical at times, you make me seem like I’m the president of the optimist club.
I do not think it is ever as bad as you think nor is it as ever good as others think. If you can simply be a realist you will see that Clemson has at least 50/50 shot at winning this one.
Yes, we have more questions going into this one than we would like, but we had similar questions going into last years game and we were away. Saying this team is not resilient is an overreach. Even after all the mistakes made in that Duke game, the offense moved the ball and had multiple opportunities to win that game even though they shot themselves in the foot over and over and over again. That is resiliency!
Here’s the thing, this game will come down more to how the Clemson O plays than any other thing. If they play “clean” (as the talking heads call it), then we roll. However, if we turn the ball over and give FSU easy points and have a bunch 3 and outs, then it will be a long day.
The only thing that could negate a less than ideal O performance is for Clemson to create more turnovers than FSU gets. Also special teams could flip the ###### in Clemson’s favor too if we get bonus points and/or good field position thanks to special teams.
So all is not lost. We are at home. We have players who are playing for their hopes to get a shot in the playoffs. They know it is now or never. They will be resilient! Their backs are against the wall. This isn’t just a “playing for pride” game, it is THE game.
Do not ever count the Tigers out! And remember, every day is a great day to be a Tiger! Go Tigers! 🐾🐾
