expect him to be at The Big Weigh In in August?

212 is my guess, with a little more explosiveness in the running game.

you stole my answer. 212-215 sounds about right.

when we did not have a back-up, I know the coaches put a ton of weight on DJ, but we have a couple of guys so I think running Klubnick will be a feature of this offense. I guess it depends on how much muscle he put on, if he could fill out his lower body and hit 220 like ETN, that would be fantastic.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

215 this August would be great and then 220 by his senior year.

Big time. I would like to see him come in at 215 and with low fat. Probably won't, but he needs more muscle.

An oldie but a goodie.

That wouldn't be so bad if he didn't have a fear of open spaces.

He runs away from open turf and right into the nearest defender.

More than his weight I would like to see him go from 200 yds passing per game to 325+ yards passing per game. ( His 100 yard passing against the dirt scratchers last year is still a nightmare). Need to see massive improvement in the offense this year. GO TIGERS.

With Beaux Collins, Cole Turner and Antonio Williams out, and Troy Stellato

with a torn labrum and Adam Randall with a broken hand, Cade's only healthy wr options in the Carolina game were freshmen Tyler Brown and Ronan Hanafin. I don't see that as a nightmare performance for Cade. I see that as finding a way to win with limited offensive weapons.

No doubt there were injuries but with the freshmen, Brinningstool, Shipley 100 yards passing against a terrible “chicken” team then it’s still a nightmare to me with no offensive Touchdowns. Can only get better hopefully. I agree it’s good to find a way to win. Balance things out and will be looking good. Go Tigers

and would have to run the ball.

"Obviously, we knew they were going to come in and try to run the ball. They were down two of their top receivers. We knew that going into the game. So, we felt going into the game they were going to run the ball. Their QB's a good runner. He showed that tonight(11 carries for 52 yards, 4.7/carry with a long of 19 yards). We had a hard time getting him, in the game.

I don't care what his weight is, as long as his Football IQ and awareness went up.

Added muscle to 215lb would be perfect and not lose any speed. He's got to work on pocket awareness too....hopefully our oline will be better this year to give hime some more time.

Doesn’t matter what weight he plays at, still doesn’t know how to read a defense and is a turnover machine. He alone loses Georgia game and will not be here next season. I predict a benching at some point and he enters the portal. See ya

Who cares about what he weighs? I just want him to get better recognition and decision-making skills. Stop looking like a deer in the headlights when he takes the snap from center.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's ALL about building confidence and performing his job better.

Riley also wants him to be a running threat in this offense. Being smallish and fragile is not going to make him more confident. He's got to get bigger and stronger along with experience, a better understanding of the offense, a better offensive line, a more consistent running game, more productive receivers, and more and better receiving options.

Cade has to be a threat in the running game. You don't see a lot of 205 pound QBs running the football 11-15 times per game, like Riley wants and Cade did the last three games and 7 times overall last season.

Cade and Riley know this. I doubt we see Cade come in at the same weight as last year.
