That's a prediction I don't need an inside source or a friend of a friend who knows somebody.
Two men with huge egos. Prototypical Alpha Males. Both have to be the center of attention. Both have to be totally in charge. Both have to make sure that they have more microphones in front of them than anybody else in the organization.
It would be the equivalent of Woody Hayes hiring Bo Schembechler to be his DC.

When you own the team you can basically run it however you want to. The fact is he know it can be done seeing he has multiple super bowls. Don’t care for the Cowboys so a flop would be great to watch. He does need a solid GM but it’s not like they have bad players.

For sure, but he’s run off some of the best coaches in NFL history because he wouldn’t let them on their job and been insistent on inserting himself into GM activities. Imagine how many more they would have won if he hadn’t run off Jimmy Johnson

He would probably make a better NFL coach than college, he doesn't like to recruit and depends on the portal each year, as FSU found out, portal outcome is a toss-up to whether it works or not.

On the flip side, the last several Dallas coaches have also been disasters so there is not much to lose. Of course, other than his Landman appearance and dating a stripper, Jerry is also a disaster.

the "Rooney Rule" about interviewing minority coaches. Prime will get a raise out of Colorado, and Jerry will hire whoever he THINKS he wants. I say "thinks", because at this stage, Jerry looks about as cognizant as Sleepy Joe Biden, and probably has no clue about who he SHOULD be hiring.
In reality, it doesn't matter who he hires. They will be so hamstrung with the contracts of Dak Prescott and others, they won't have the $$$ available to build a competitive team. This was the one thing that I actually COULD admire about Tom Brady. He realized early on, if HE took all the money, the Patriots would not be able to build a good team around him. These current Prima Donnas are finding out the hard way that he was right about that, too.
Kobe Bryant was another example, he took all the Lakers money at the end of his career, and they couldn't put enough good players around him to compete.

I agree, Brett. I have never been a fan of the Cowboys or Dieon, although I have great respect for his ability as a player. This would be a marriage of one of the most arrogant organizations and one of the most arrogant individuals around. Don’t see how that can end well, but then again, they do seem to be a perfect match.
