beginning of the 4th quarter. I had to check my location and make sure I wasn't at Willy B. You folks that left early, please don't come back. Give away or sell your tickets. We got yelled at for standing up on third down. This is Clemson.
Sad to see this change in our fan base.

Might just be me being a jerk but when people do that kind of thing it just makes me stand up longer and yell more abnoxiously. Like when someone beeps their horn at me at an intersection thinking that's gonna make me move faster. Well guess what buddy, you just racked up three more light cycles cuz I'm throwing it in park for next two green lights just to #### you off.

Right on the bullseye !!! Fans , drivers , and people in general live like everything must happen right now.
I dislike it when people blow their horns at another drivers, driver who swerve from lane to lane thinking they will get there faster. It is rarely successful reckless driving. And respect large 18 wheel tractor - trailer vehicles. 80% of accidents are caused by the smaller passenger vehicle.
I was taught a valuable lesson years ago. I was trying to rush to my next appointment. The car in front of me seemed to ignore the green arrow to turn left. I blow my horn several times.
When I was able to catch up and pull beside the car, I looked over to see a sweet little old lady who could barely see over the steering wheel driving the car. She probably had no one to drive for her. Then I thought about “ Man one day that could my mom or dad sitting at a light, and some jerk like me behind them blowing their horn.
People need to slow down, learn to be more patient and take time to speak to your friends and neighbors. Learn to enjoy life.
Technology has caused us to kick life into overdrive. But we can slow it down.

The folks contributing to IPTAY and purchasing tickets are the real fans. Once purchased they are free to do with their tickets what they want. People have different reasons for having to leave early. I guarantee you, these folks would prefer not to have to leave early. Sometimes a five minute head start can be the difference in getting straight out of a lot or sitting there for an hour.

I always cant stand it when someone taps you on the back and asks you to sit down.
We didn’t get our reputation for being loud from sitting down and spectating or golf clapping.
If someone doesn’t want to be involved with the game and cheer, then they should probably stay home and watch it on TV
And no clemson fan should ever stop others from making noise at the game!
It’s not a spectator sport - you got to bring your energy to contribute something or stay home

You mean like the jerk in front of me that stands the entire game and blocks my view (for the past 20 years), while no one else in our area does that? We all stand during kickoffs and when a critical plat is about to happen, but nor for the entire game.

I agree. When Clemson fans start pulling what I call a “ coot fan bailout “ is embarrassing to see Clemson fans pulling the same stunt. Not only is it embarrassing to other fans, it’s embarrassing for the players and coaches and especially for the visiting recruits.
I they are on the fence will 4 or 5 schools, how our fans react may eliminate Clemson. We pride ourselves on being a big Clemson Family. Then we start doing the “ coot fan bailout “ it’s makes the phrase Clemson Family seem fake like coots fans. Clemson fans are so much better than how we have shown because of this season. We are truly a Family so please let’s prove that we are. Let’s stop doing the “ coot fan bailout “

Some people don't live around the corner and have a 5 or more hour drive to get home after the game...plus the time it takes to sit in traffic to get out of town. That's the reason games at Clemson are supposed to start at 1.

Who cares if they stay the whole time or leave early? Do you also keep track of how loudly they cheer, whether they stand up or not, and how many times they go to the bathroom?
Let me guess, real fans arrive early, stay late, stand up the whole game to cheer, only visit concession stands during breaks in the game, self-catheterize so they don’t have to go to the bathroom, and always sing the alma mater in tune.
Am I right?

Honestly not trying to be facetious here but why go? Just to tailgate? You should have sold your tickets. I am sure you had been there done that with the tailgate thing.
I get it if it is a blowout. But this game was definitely in question for most of it even though Clemson looked like better team.

Night game exit traffic is horrific. People don't like getting home a 2-3AM especially with kids and seniors. That is the DOT's and the university's fault. Want people to stay? Expand the roads and build more hotels.
The coots don't have this excuse as it is always trivial to get in and out of the cockroach area of Columbia.

My Dad and I got tickets to the 1991, and 1993 NL playoffs game against Pittsburgh and Philly. We drive down that late afternoon watched the entire game. The we drive back. My Dad got home at 2 and I got home at 3 am.
We had never been to a NLCS game. I wanted to enjoy the entire experience especially with my Dad. We did stay over night in 1993. Lennie Dykstra hit a HR to beat the Braves. But experiencing the excitement and energy was worth the drive down and back.
When I go to Clemson games home or away I stay for the entire game. I want to e joy the experience win or lose. I was at the 1988 punt rooskie game. I was on the 20 yard line lower deck 95 yards from where FSU had the ball. All of the sudden I am in shock watching the FSU player run down the sideline, but I stayed for the entire game.

We left with about 4 minutes to go in the game, when the ‘Noles turned the ball over on downs and we were up two scores. First time in my life that we haven’t stayed through the playing of the Alma mater, but I needed to get my wife home because she had to be at church early on Sunday, and it made the difference between us getting home at 10:45 or getting home at midnight or later (we’re in one of those lots that if you don’t beat the crowd out, you can end up sitting for an hour just to get onto 93 and another half hour to get to 123). It felt weird but I justified it by reminding myself that the players are getting paid the same either way.

The amount of defending folks leaving and not making noise and sitting down at a night game is shocking to me. Just stay home. I think the Panthers are more half of this site's speed. Trust me no noise up there and easy to get in and out of, a cushy club level and you can whisper to the folks beside you when the Panthers are on defense. Oh and they're big on shouting at folks to sit down when you try to make noise out there. Also a ton of their fans are big about selling their tickets to opposing fans as well. They even have a functioning Krispe Kreme up in the club level too.
The old folks I know with tickets usually give their night game tickets up to kids/grandkids/family friends who are younger and don't mind going to a night game, it also helps build the fanbase in a grassroots way. I really hope a ton of folks put their money where their mouth is when it comes to giving up their tickets because of how they've felt slighted by IPTAY. But they wont....
Half the stadium up and leaving and sitting on their hands all game is a huge part of why our atmosphere has fallen off a cliff, but the blue hairs will blame the dabotron instead of looking inward at all. No wonder we're starting to get a wine and cheese crowd vibe.
