Field position was heavily slanted in SC’a favor all game. Felt like they were starting on the 40 plus every time in the 2nd half.

It has been for a while, along with the kicking game but for some reason it continues to go unaddressed. I guess if coach doesn’t care why should we?

Special teams had a bigger role than many realize

Not kicking a FG in 1st half was a huge mistake
Almost botched the onside kick recovery
Poor punts put us in bad field position all game

part of that is because of how bad our FG protection has been. So yeah... still because of crappy special teams.

Feels like we lost all 3 phases

Special teams: Punting was bad and too scared to kick field goals
Offense: inconsistent and too conservative, no running threat to speak of
Defense: decent schemes and good pressure, but some pretty low effort plays in the secondary and horrendously abysmal tackling up front

The saddest one was when we punted from around midfield

and only netted 25 yards because of a horrible 30 yard punt and the illegal formation penalty adding another 5 on for SC.

There was also another punt late after the INT that went about 38 yards. Just atrocious punting.
