I mean most of you don't care about basketball but I do.
The next few days there is going to be some great games being played.
The ACCT will be almost as good as the the sweet 16 for the rest of the weekend.
I mean if you can't sell that to kids and get them excited about playing on the big stage.
There is no excuses but that you can not recruit.
I will enjoy March Madness but I really don't care who wins.
For once tho it would be nice to have an invested interest.

The basketball programs at schools that win Championships in football usually get a recruiting boost. I'm not sure Brownell will capitalize on this though

Or most Football schools are really good every 3-4 years.
Aka Ohio st, ND, Texas, Wisconsin,FSU, Florida just off the top of my head.

If most people didn't care there wouldn't be nearly the amount of calling for Brownell's job as there is now, and they wouldn't be glad or sad that the season is over or almost over.

Well - for me - I ONLY care if CLEMSON is in the NCAAT (or even the NIT). If not, then NO - I don't care and will probably not even watch the tourney. But, I'm a football fan mostly, bball second, and BBall a distant third. I didn't watch an entire game all year mainly because I get tired of watching bad BBall. It's amazing how many times I've stumbled onto another BBall game and just sit and wonder why can't we play like that. If we played worth a crap, then I'd watch or attend games. I have better things to do with my time and money than to waste it on our program. And contrary to many kool-aid drinkers, my money or attendance or my watching the games and talking about how great we are will NOT make our team great.

I care about every sport that Clemson participates in, including basketball. I have been to several home games this year and watched on TV those that I didn't attend. I'm disappointed in how the season turned out but I'm sure that the team is even more disappointed. I've lost faith in BB's ability to make us a contender but I will continue to support the team through IPTAY and attendance.
