Was it planned for Cade to start the half 1-8 for 2 yards?

Even if the playcalling was intentionally bland in that situation, the players on the field could still execute them and have success. They simply didn't / couldn't for most of the 3rd quarter. At one point late in the 3rd we had 38 yards of offense on 4 drives with the starters still in.

All because our line could not push a midget off a sandhill. Poor, poor effort for all 5 on nearly every play. We really couldn't run the ball all game.

they failed to grasp in practice.

Dabo's been here over a decade, everyone should know by now he's not going to let anyone pad their stats against a weaker opponent.

Dabo is going to mix and match deep off the bench with our starters to get film to coach everyone up.

I can remember several games when DW and TL were the QBs that the same meger offense showed in the 2nd half. IMO, it's nothing to get too worried about.
