We had the chance to close it but didn't. Not a bad L but it does hurt being up 18. Gonna be hard to beat Duke without our PG but we can do it. Let's hold home court and get well soon Mitchell. We have a run to make in the tourney.

Agreed but we should have made shots and inbounded the ball. Shouldn't let the refs have to decide the game. It is a tough L but not a bad one and we get them again at home.

lost by 2 in over time. The no-call foul on Mitchell could have been the difference between a W and an L.

Yep it could have been a flagrant no doubt but they got all ball first and then came down on him. I do believe it that was Thomas on an FSU player we would have heard the whistle blow no doubt.

"foul pool." The notion of having a pool of fouls for each team and calling them as if it is a game in and of itself...well, it's made basketball so hard to watch at times.

Thomas got mugged at the end of the game. No foul.

Thomas was trying to get out of the way of a player earlier. Foul.

Yes, we turned the ball over too much. But FSU got away with a lot of reaching and bumping that if our player just breathed wrong, they were called for a foul.

And this applies to every game played. It happens all the time.

The refs called a terrible game. I will say we were benefitted by taking a charge a couple of times that normally would be called as blocking fouls.

It drives me insane.

The refs are WAY too important to the outcome of games.

It's also a game of ball handling. Way too many unforced errors. Decided the game in favor of the team that should not have won.

Oh I agree for sure. We played crsppy in the second half and BB didn't have his best coaching night IMO. We still had a chance to win in regulation and to tie in ot. It just didn't happen but it is okay we just have to move on and find a way to beat Duke without Mitchell.
