Not that I'm advocating for CBB to stop being the CUMBBHC. I'm not.

But Richie's young, energetic and knows the game. And Ritchey loves the Upstate. And has roots here. And Richy went to NGU, I think.

lol I have seen Bob Richey’s name spelled six different ways on this board. Incredible.

Anyway, I think he should be on the list but pretty far down. He has zero experience recruiting at the high-major level. I would try to throw a bag at Jerome Tang, Wes Miller, or Niko Medved first. Maybe some others before that too.

Tang: Why would dude bolt KState for Clemson.
Miller ... hmmm ... but Medved's a bargain at $1M/year for CState. Neff could get him cheap.

But not as cheap as Ritchiey.

How do do you know any of them would accept an offer from Clemson plus on the cheap? For many of them it’s not about the next job but the last job. So many would not accept a job even for more money if it did not provide a high confidence of success. They are building a resume more than a bank account…
