I think the only way Wes loses is job is if we make Texas look like WVU in the Orange Bowl.
Yeah, that was a poor decision to pull Sammy in hindsight. But we had a good scheme on the play when Sellers had his late run. Just took poor angles and missed tackles.
Sellers is a legitimately good player and he basically single-handedly won the game for them.
But to fire Coach G due to that is truly asinine.

He supposedly has an high IQ, but this is football. No need to over analyze the situation. Sometimes us arm chair QB’s just look at it in simpler terms and are puzzled at some of these coaches decisions. Personally I just do not see sitting a stud LB that was playing well on the bench ever.
I swear this was just like the Tommy Bowden decision on sitting Merriweather when SC had no answer for him.

Coming into the year, Carson Beck was the heisman fave. We made him look bad in the first half, and just average in the 2nd.
We haven't done a great job playing complimentary football this season, and it looks like we're just starting to do that!

Beck may have been the biggest disappointment of the year in comparison to expectations for him coming into the season. Lost a few studs on that side of the ball and it showed. Injuries did not help either.

He had 3 carries on the drive. Three! It's not like he was single-handedly moving us down the field. Were his 3 carries productive? Yeah, sure! 3 carries for 23 yards is definitely good. Guess what though.. Spiller had 4 carries for 39 yards on the same drive. That's more carries, more yards, and a higher YPC average on that drive than Merriweather. We had two backs both moving the ball very effectively on the ground (not just one hot hand), and then we brought in our #1 RB and got stuffed on a few runs. Sh*t happens. I can justly criticize Bowden for many, many things, but that is not one of them. James Davis was our best offensive player in 2005 and 2006. Criticizing the staff for giving the ball to their best player with the game on the line is insane.

Clemson defense is still top 25 in the advanced metrics. Maybe not top 10 like we have become accustomed to, but neither is our overall defensive talent either. Both have certainly slipped a bit and that's likely not a coincidence.

Let Dabo run his program and keep your useless opinions to yourself... this gets tiring. We got a CFP game Saturday and all you can think of is fire the DC that got us here?
Wes did not throw the interception or call the play in the Carolina game. We did not produce a whopping 5 minutes time of possession in the third quarter...
Got a news flash ...Sammy Brown was not going to do much better trying to corral Sellers... there were 11 guys on the field and none of them tackled Sellers... dude had a career day, so acknowledge it.
