So help me understand this...

I'm trying to understand the ESPN recruiting rankings... not that it is very important I just don't like to see something that I cannot understand.

ESPN as of today, has Clemson ranked 11th in recruiting.

Clemson has 1 five star, 11 four stars, and 3 three stars with 16 committments.

Ohio State is ranked 5th with 1 five star, 11 four stars, and 4 three stars with 16 committments.

Texas is ranked 7th has 0 five stars, 12 four stars, and 1 three star with 14 committments.

I don't know if they are tallying up all of the stars...

Clemson (58) RANKED 11TH???
OSU (61) RANKED 5TH???
Texas (51) RANKED 7TH???

FU ESPN...

I think one of our guys doesn't have a star rating. That may be what is bringing us down a bit. Don't know really,not a recruiting guru like some of the others are.

It's like scoring gymnastics in the Olympics. They total up all the stars, then we get deductions because we are Clemson and also because we play in the ACC. The other teams get bonus points because they're in the Big "whatevers".

to be ranked higher than we are. We have one more 5 star but they have one more four star? Hmm, which is more valuable...Robert Nkemdiche or a 4 star?

It *has* to be b/c of Morris' "no stars"

If you care about rankings, you need to lobby ESPN and Rivals to at least look at him long enough to put 2 or 3 stars on the kid.
