I posted within a few hours of this happening that I believed the same thing myself. Part of me still does.
It's very hard to reconcile the reputation of Mossad - the Israeli intelligence service - with an organization that somehow missed the buildup of literally thousands of missiles and would have involved several thousand militants...all in an area one-quarter the size of Pickens County.
It just makes zero sense. The Mossad are known as one of the most capable and ruthless intelligence services in the history of the world. They cultivate human sources and have eyes everywhere in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, other neighboring states. As recently as 2021 Mossad agents managed to blow up a nuclear facility in Iran...and vanish without a trace. Their cyber capabilities and signals intelligence are so good ex-Mossad agents literally make (very lucrative) livings all over the world as private contractors doing what they were trained to do in Mossad. An outfit of ex-Mossad called Black Cube has drawn widespread criticism for their hacking and surveilling all over the world. (They definitely were not using their powers for good...among others, they were working for Harvey Weinstein.) They have sophisticated aerial surveillance, have even put up their own satellites.
And they somehow missed what was about to happen on that scale right on the other side of a fence right next door?
If Mossad legitimately did get skunked that badly, it's...mind-blowing. And nobody has yet advanced a remotely credible explanation for how such a massive failure could have happened. It squares with nothing that is known about them.
I know, I know: never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity. The problem with that explanation is that throughout its history Mossad has been anything but stupid.
So there's still a very large part of me that's definitely wondering if it's going to start coming out that maybe Bibi was up to some stuff.
The other alternative is even more worrisome. If Mossad were legitimately snookered, it means Iran's intelligence service is just a whole lot more capable than anybody knew...or there's another hand in there we haven't seen yet.

They two scenarios are so similar that it is logically and intellectually incongruent for someone to propose that Israel let this happen on purpose, but say that someone is a loon for thinking the US had similar involvement with 9/11. Logic dictates someone think either both of these are possible or both impossible.

I don't agree with the premise though
The author would have you believe that Bibi’s end goal is to prevent Palestine from being recognized as a nation.
I think that's a simplistic and flawed premise.
They don't want Palistine to be a state because that would enable a Palistine government to further aid and support Hamas in their goal to take the Holy land back.
It also presupposes that everyone in Palestine would all be happy if they were just recognized as a state.
I think that's totally naive
