great was that it was so totally unexpected. The game was supposed to be close, especially since we were on the road, in enemy territory, as we are this time around. The coaches just found a flaw in Granny Holtz's slobbering defense, and exploited it over, and over, and over again.
And, therein lies the task for Clemson Saturday. You can do all the film study you want, maybe even uncover a fatal flaw or two, but you MUST EXECUTE A GOOD GAME PLAN to take advantage of that. Never was there better execution than Coot Killa #6 and Co pulled off in 2003. Even then, Clemson was pretty much just "sitting" on a 56-17 lead, until the entire Coot team decided they couldn't tackle backup Chansi Stuckey on that long run.
We have beaten the Coots worse. 56-7 comes to mind, as does the total dominating beatdown 45-0 that Saint Danniford's troops laid on the Capons years ago. But, that last touchdown in 2003, pushing the total into the 60's, just stands alone, for me and many other of the Clemson faithful. As I said, time for another one!

I remember that 45-0 back in 1989. Direct snap to Terry Allen in the backfield and he hit the hole so fast and so many times the coots looked like middle schoolers
