When did Dabo start his "race down the hill" that he does?

I know he has done for a number of years but curious if he started doing it his first year as HC? I don't recall any HC's before Dabo being part of the hill entrance.

He’s the only one that’s self righteous, those poor kids he keeps tricking should come together for justice

makes it more about himself than any of our previous coaches? I don't recall Bowden centering himself much and didn't see the others live.

All the Clemson coaches that I can remember have been on the bus that rounds the stadium and runs down the hill. How the heck else are they supposed to get down to field level without running down the hill? Hidden underground elevator? I'm thinking Bowden and others may have ducked out and ran over to the sideline from the goalpost and not made the entire run through the band tunnel.
I've heard several national people say he is making it about himself which is silly. It's no different when Day or Kirby or any other coach walking through and running out of the tunnel with their team.

How long have you been watching Clemson? Dabo has been coach for quite a few years and has done it this way from his first game as interim coach. He is after all the leader of the team ! The Head Coach!

Dabo went to 6 playoffs, went 14-1 then won a National Championship the next season, then lost in the playoffs the next season then went on a 29 game winning streak winning 15-0 National Championship and then didn’t lose another until early 2020 in the National Championship game.
Little ole Clemson has a great coach who’s graduating rate and culture of love with his team is even more incredible, he is also humble enough to give God all the credit. That ticks a lot of people with off because they don’t repent and give God the same credit for their lives.
The Bible’s said carrying the cross(living for Christ) would cause us who believe to be persecuted like Jesus was because those who don’t believe want to do things their way and hate those that don’t.
It says to count that as blessings!
