Your worst enemy isn't the enemy you know. It's the enemy you don't know. The enemy you didn't see coming. Or the enemy you thought was a friend.

Trump is extremely inarticulate, but I think? all he was trying to say here was that Cheney and her papa are war hawks, but both send others to war with 'all the courage of the fearless noncombatant.'
I don't think this is a signal for him wanting to kill Liz, but certainly there will be an ad up if not already.

Cultists are people who still believe in Hillary's Trump-Russia collusion crap-who still believe the borders are secure-who say trump can't articulate but spent 4 years saying that Biden is still sharp and that Kamala can answer questions-who defend Democrats supporting ANTIFA and BLM as they attacked, burned and rioted for months--

Does it matter? If you're going to lead the most powerful nation on Earth
Nov 1, 2024, 9:33 AM

And command the most powerful military on Earth, your EVERY word will be watched.
What if Xi pees in his cornflakes? And he says something off the cuff like this? Or Putin? Or whoever. Are you going to write it off as nukes fly in?
This isn't a leader you want. Just take a gander at other world leaders, heck almost any of them. The only time you see comments like these from leaders are in banana republics and third world nations where warlords are fighting over control. This isn't civil discourse, in any context.
Here's your "context". It's still cringeworthy.
https://x.com/TrumpWarRoom/status/1852225240723509267
If Trump wants to accuse people of being war hawks.....that's fine. I'd respond with this:
You can say what you want to about America, but ever since WW2 humanity has NEVER had a more "peaceful" existence. Trump may want to ask himself WHY that is. People called Reagan a war hawk, as he ended the Cold War. People called GWB a war hawk, after 9/11. People are calling Biden a war hawk for funding a side in two wars. Labels aside, the numbers speak for themselves.

Yes. Because he's too dumb (or impulsive) to check himself.

Do you not remember his 2am tweet storms? That's not "normal" behavior. Period. I don't care what your opinion of the tweet may be. He is up in the middle of the night sending out paranoid tweets about enemies, and whatever else. That is not a normal, stable person.
And no I'm not voting for Kamala. She's as bad as Trump. My mother is not even voting.
I've read too many history books to ignore what's happening. It's scary. And this is coming from someone who has never voted for a democrat, ever. This is coming from someone with a family history of being democrats for decades, then being smart enough to change parties when the parties changed. Wife's grandfather, a lifelong "southern democrat", his last vote was for John freaking Edwards. Why? Because he was never bright enough to see the change, and associated more with a party than an ideal. The GOP is in the midst of shifting ideals currently, as the dems did in the 60's. The smart republicans are not going to be taken advantage of by opportunists, as my wife's grandfather was for decades by a litany of liberal democrats, even though he is as conservative as anyone I ever knew.
Look at who America has had to choose from since 2016, the people, the personalities, the morals, the leadership we have had to choose from for the past decade? Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump. Joe Biden. Donald Trump. Kamala Harris. NONE of these candidates are good leaders of people. NONE are people who I want my kids to grow up to emulate. I wouldn't want Biden, Trump, Kamala or Hillary leading our cub scout pack.
So take that as you wish.

Yep. He was President for four years. I voted for him in 2016.
Nov 1, 2024, 11:12 AM

|
I predicted he would win in 2016. I predicted he would lose in 2020. I predicted he would not accept the election results and violence would ensue. He lost my vote in 2020. He's done nothing to regain it.
And since I've never voted for a democrat in my life, I'm sitting out this year too with a no vote for the President. Maybe America can give me a good choice some day. Maybe the GOP can give me a candidate who inspires me, instead of depresses me. Maybe my primary vote will win the nomination some day.
Trump was not my 2016 primary choice. I still went with him in the general though, as I have always done. Trump ended the hold your nose voting in my house.

he done crossed it a long time ago, but to give it context, he has an axe to grind with Cheney, cause she is a vocal leader of the Jan 6th commission, and if he loses, she will have a role in putting him behind bars where he belongs.
There is your context.

Reading this entire passage, it is obvious that Trump was talking about Cheney being a war hawk and had zero to do with threatening Cheney with a firing squad.
This is total BS to try to make this about Trump wanting to execute Cheney.

Why give the dems this clip then?

The man is impulsive, to a degree that makes him unfit to lead. Why could he have not just left it at calling her a war hawk? Why did he have to bring in a firing squad? We're not even fighting a war currently. We're just throwing money around, which is our preferred way of handling most things.

I do believe Trump is not fit to be President. I also believe Harris will be terrible for other reasons, but this manipulation of Trump's language by the Harris campaign and the media is very off putting.
Nowhere did Trump mention a firing squad. Most firing squads I believe are around 5 people. Looking at the entire dialogue and printed version of what Trump carelessly said, it is very obvious what he was talking about. It was NOT about threatening to execute her.
Here's CNN's take-Trump says 'war hawk' Liz Cheney should be fired upon in escalation of violent rhetoric against his opponents.
Someone looking at that headline would obviously think Trump thinks Cheney should be shot. What should be obvious to anyone was that Trump was saying that war hawks might act differently if they were facing down incoming fire.
The Dems took this and made this about something entirely different altogether.
I absolutely don't like Trump nor Harris, but there's something really messed up when the MSM posts 80+% favorable Harris coverage and 85% negative Trump coverage. It wasn't always this way.

Even if you agree with his every position on every issue, you have to cringe when he does stuff like this. Or tweets at 2am about some paranoid BS.
I've never voted for a democrat for President, and probably never will, unless they change. That being said, I've had no option but Donald Trump from my party for 8 years now, and that's not good. I understood why Trump won in 2016, completely. I predicted it. And he won. I voted for him in 2016. In 2020 I didn't vote because by then his MO was pretty clear. I knew Trump would lose. And he lost. And I knew what would happen, and it did. And here we are.......
We have a problem bigger than Trump, or Harris, Or Biden, or pubs, or dems. I've said it, and I've said the preferred solution to it. And otherwise, I'm just going to sit back and watch. Because not even Liz Cheney or her father, or Trump, or Harris, or anyone else will even mutter the solution. Because it's not in any of THEIR best interests.

It wasn't framed as her being in the crosshairs of the enemy, even if that was the overall context. In any case, that's not something you should talk about. Talk about how that's a bad policy.

no its not in the context.
So if I said "I sure do appreciate the American soldier who puts their life on the line in hostile territory, at any point could have multiple enemies aiming weapons at them. People who don't understand how they must feel would probably feel different if they were in their situation"
point out violent rhetoric in that statement.

I thought our enlisted military were "suckers", didn't he say that as well? And did he not say 2 weeks ago that there is an enemy within, and maybe we should use the military, if it comes to that. No correleation between these two statements? Sorry, I get what you are saying about contedt, but his words were carefully chosen, his embellishments are were intended to create an image of a firing squad, and pointed at her face, an unnecessary detail. Saying these things gets him off, and makes him feel powerful. Imagine what happens when has the authority, you know, being that his own attorneys argued in front of our highest court that assasinating his politcal rivals could fall under an official act as president.
just take a giant step back and look where this rhetoric is pointing. If there is even a 5% chance that he is hinting at his first 90 days in office, it aint worth it. Sadly, if this kind of thing does come to pass, and he abuses his power, you all will still defend him.

This threads a good example of how dishonest the media when reporting what Trump says. I mean he says enough legitimately dumb things that they don't have to make up stuff based on out of context sound bite. Now we will hear for the next 50 years how Trump called for her execution when he clearly did not. Just like how he didn't say nazis are fine people or dead soldiers are suckers. Doesn't matter to the gullible kook left.

When did MAGA turn into such anti-military pus>sies? Calling people “war hawks,” moaning about American industry building jets and warships, and pis>sing themselves when authoritarians threaten us or our allies? Have some pride, locate your balls. We keep peace around the world through our strength and the strength of our alliances.
