but we may just be underdogs at home to the Coots here in a couple weeks. that is wild to admit.
you have a USuCk team that preseason is staring down the barrel of 3-5 wins and a Clemson team that myself and many others were pretty high on. Just hoping the coaches can put together a much better plan to win the State. need the crowd to be a factor too

You skeert? It’s ok, just say it.
I never worry about that game. We own those fools. Do we drop the ball sometimes? Sure, that’s life. Coots will coot. Daddy is collecting in two weeks.

I understand we don't like them (of course) and we don't want to sing their praises or show weakness, but we also can't be willfully ignorant or delusional. We've got to be realistic about what we've seen. The cold hard truth is that the coots look very threatening right now at the very least. Their defense is one of the best in the country. Offensively, Sellers and Sanders are both potent running the ball, and it's a challenge for defenses to keep them both in check. Their passing game has been much more inconsistent. Overall, their receivers are very big and fast, but they aren't the shiftiest, and their route-running and ball-catching are not elite. When Sellers can connect with them, they've certainly had their moments this season. Sellers has talent, but he's had his own problems with decision making. I'm not saying Clemson can't win, especially at home, but this is absolutely going to be a major challenge. Really, when you consider some of Clemson's inconsistencies, I think it makes it a difficult game to project. How effective can the Tigers offense be against that defense? Will we get Louisville Clemson or will we get App State Clemson? Will we get the good or the bad version of Sellers and the SCar passing offense? I think those questions are going to determine who wins the game, but either way, right now I think it's fair to say it's looking like a big-time matchup if we're being objective.

Pretty much nailed it. I am not sure how well we match up even when all of our players are healthy, but right now we won’t have 50 yards rushing. They have quietly assembled a good team and right now are passing the eye test. I hate to say it!

This year is no different. Shane Beamer, no doubt, has brought new life to the USC program. Good for him and good for them, and good for us, too. Who wants to beat an 0-10 team or an 3-7 team every year?
We should welcome our state having more competitive college football teams. All ships rise. As long as our ship keeps rising just a little more! Go Tigers!

I predict we will be -2.5 favorites but could be adjusted due to injuries. But we were 12.5 point favorites vs. Pitt.

I would switch that to a 3 point dog unfortunately. But the spread does not decide the game.

The coots are playing with more enthusiasm than us. That is the HC job.

They want to win. Our team is playing like they don’t want to get hurt. Maybe they have been saving it for the chickens.
