I don't think we have done that in at least 10 years. That is why I think this year is so important for Dabo. Clemson has established a pattern of up and down seasons with a horrible season every 4 years. Not only is this an even numbered year but it is also 4 years from the last collapse. If Dabo can prove he has changed this trend both he and Clemson have a bright future ahead.

We were expected to take a move down that year with losing the entire offense. We weren't hyped going into that year, so really doesn't count as a collapse

Sorry, but a 6-7 season for Clemson is a collapse!

A losing records will never be considered anything but a collapse in my book!
We had Parker coming back, AE, and Allen. Not exactly scrubs playing offense.

Are you talking about the high snap over the punters head for a TD GTech?

Thank Reggie Herring's "Bend but don't break" defensive mentality for that one.. Good Lord he was horrible.... He single handedly cost Tommy West his job (we had the lead in 7 of the 8 losses that year with 4 min to go in the game) and then TB keeps him as DC... Stupid move from day 1...
Although, all of that led us to where we are today with Dabo, so.... Good job guys!!
Go Tigers! I'm ALL IN!!

It was the 2000 season, and they did score on a TD reception to rip our hearts out of our collective @sses. I remember it b/c that was the best season we had the whole 7 years I was at Clemson, and I spent that season on a study abroad in Germany/Europe. We were in Vienna that day that we played GT. We had to keep getting online in the hostel to check the score. We were drinking to the Clemson win in the bar in the hostel when my friend went to check one last time to make sure we'd won. Well, we didn't. It was a heartbreaker.
Note: I did grad school at Clemson as well as undergrad. It didn't take me 7 years for my BS
GO TIGERS!!!!

TD pass with 7 seconds to go ripped out our hearts. The one your thinking of was when I think Ball threw to the tall receiver playing for the Lions now (I think).
