Coach V and Dabo both travelled to Oklahoma last Monday and Coach V interviewed and entertained the offer from Oklahoma. The intent was it he accepted, he would fly home and Dabo would recruit the midwest on his own and explain to the recruits while Brent informed his guys back home. This did not happen, and both Venables and Sweeney recruited Tuesday. Non-issue, Coach V did not take the offer, they brought in Stoops while the continue to get someone to buy what they are selling. Now you know.

Was it Monday night of this week or Monday night of last week when Venables was at the basketball game? I think the OP means he was in Oklahoma on Monday of last week.

Colbert, I had to laugh at that. I made the same spelling mistake many years ago and believe me, I was corrected unmercilessly. I was raised in a small rural town in GA and there were several "Sweeney" families around and Dabo pronounces his name similar to that, so I naturally went to the spelling that I was familiar with.
