Is Grisham too demanding on our WRs?

Should we have hired a softer and more gentle coach for that position group?
Crazy how many injuries we have had at WR the last 2 years.

I realize you’re being facetious, but on a serious note, I think we may have whiffed big time not bringing Chansi Stucky home to be the WR coach. He’s killing it in recruiting for ND, 3 top 150 overall WRs this class and that’s without a QB commit. Seems to be an Eason like hire for the Domers.

Can't disagree with you there. At least based on what he's doing there, you'd have to think he'd be doing as good, if not better here with our WR reputation.

it's hard not to notice the drop off from this group since he took over for Jeff scott. Hope things improve. As far as Chansi, he anything less than college coordinator or pro level position coach is a step down since being at ND.

Yeah we have no chance for him now, I was just saying it seems like we missed not going for him a few years ago, but it’s just like recruiting, you hit on some and miss on some. Grish still has time but like CJ, seems to be dealing with a tough learning curve.

He was on the staff 2 years ago. We were in the same new employee orientation session in January 2020. He seemed like a good guy and I would think the players would relate to him very well. I guess I didn’t even know he had left.

Absolutely correct. It's nice that Tyler is a former Clemson guy and all, but results matter.

and healthy Ross our there. These guys, most highly recruited, need to step up. Having a QB whoever it is who can throw them open would help as well.
Injuries Grisham had no control over, if he has control over any; Ross hitting a goal post, Spector having long Covid, Taylor and Randall blowing out their knees, Stellato being hurt his entire time here.
