Is Clemson still on the map for elite recruits?

Who on our team could realistically go in the 1st or 2nd round of the draft next year? My worry is given the glaring holes on our coaching staff the top top guys aren’t (maybe already don’t) wanna come to Clemson. The best guys wanna go where they have the best chance of going high on draft day

Yep something our fan base doesn’t understand, all the media has to do is sit back now. We have one of if not the most toxic fan base out there and recruits will start to notice.

Not even close. Tennessee fans literally showed up and protested on campus when they were considering Greg Schiano as a HC. What impacts recruits more than what we write here is what they see on ESPN, Insta, TikTok. Right now they see Clemson at the bottom of the ACC, NOT ranked again and talking heads dragging the Clemson brand on TV and Youtube and tarnishing it. Guess what? We've allowed it to happen. It didn't have to be this way. Yet, here we are.
And I hope all you pumpers who don't even go to games (I was there) have the guts to tell all the local business owners in Clemson, Seneca and Pendelton, etc. whose livelihoods are all closely linked to CLemson football that they're "spoiled".

We are still elite. Obviously winning is very important to recruits but Clemson offers way more than most schools. We have a reputation and a foundation unlike most schools these days.

Settle down.
In the 2020 class we had DJ, who was probably second ranked QB in the nation and Bowman who was top one or two running back in the nation. And they both turned out to be busts.
We’ve hit on some guys. We’ve missed on some guys. That will continue.

We will continue to rank in the range we always are. However rankings are not always correct and some years sure hits are misses in the long run and the opposite. I will say that this class we brought in looks like a case of massive hits across the board and it’s looking like the class was big time underrated in the rankings. Upcoming class - we’ll see. 2 years ago definitely hit on some guys but jury is still out on how deep that class is- need to see how some of those guys pan out. Film on a few of our 2023 class looks exceptional but we’ll see how that translates

Nate Wiggins is our closest thing to a first rounder right now. Woods could turn in to one down the road
The thing to keep an eye on now is recruiting in the 25 class. Lots of other teams are gaining momentum and we are not

Ruke will be a 3rd-4th rounder IMO
