Is Chad Morris Playing Possum With Our Offense?
Nov 5, 2014, 11:52 AM

I would really like to think that The Chad has been plying ultra conservative because he hasn't really had to take some of the shots he normally takes.
I am not suggesting that he is 100% playing vanilla as he is limited on the talent level of personnel, but he is also making call so very conservative the it almost looks "on purpose"
I am not expecting a lot of offense against Wake because they are really bad.....
If GT has been looking at our film for the last month we look very beatable...and that is when Chad unleashed Watson and starts stretching the field?
Is Morris really that clever?

No, he is a football coach who is doing everything he can to win..... lay down last years offense against this years.... no Sammy, No Tajh, No No. 1, 25 or a tight end to speak of... Our offense isnt very good, because of all the losses at the key positions. Remember, we have lost several of the backups and are down to the third team guys from last year. Next year our offense should be much better but we lose the defense. Morris does as good as he can with what he has.

offense is struggling with injuries and youth to execute consistently and avoid turnovers, you don't take too many chances that could create turnovers and cost you a game. Play the odds and don't put your defense in bad short field situations.
Don't get cute, turn it over, give your opponent a short field or easy score and lose a game you should have won.

Nah, he has the luxury of playing not to lose.

He's managing an offense that I'd liken to a race car with a flat tire trying to limp around the track to the pit. It's difficult to control because the flat in on the front.
I think we're in pit row we just need to pat the gas and make sure we don't overshoot the stop. We fans can't tell how long this pitstop is going to last but we know our engine and tranny (not that kink of tranny, ######) are strong and will take us back to the leading lap.
Tighten the lugbolts and hit the gas.

Do you really think that after playing Georgia, FSU, Louisville, etc, in a sport where you almost have to go undefeated to win it all, that Morris is really saving a whole slew of plays to unleash now that we have 2 losses?
