That clown is paid by hit SEC-biased takes. I read them because I love how we shoved it down his throat in the Natty last year. We were way beyond balls deep in that game vs. Bama. If we'd scored on that last drive, it would've been labeled Rated R and nobody under 13 could watch that game.

Henry, Your assault rifle image has nothing to do with Clemson or football. You every right to use it but it's offensive to many, especially now. It would be a nice gesture if you would change it.

The 'tough Bama schedule' hype......
Aug 6, 2019, 11:00 PM
|
|
...Continues
Bama plays Duke, New Mexico State, Southern Miss and Western Carolina. The 'beaten and bloody' part of the schedule must come from Arkansas (Bama's won 12 straight), Tennessee (Bama's won 12 straight), Miss State (Bama's won 11 straight),LSU (Bama's won 8 straight), TAMU (Bama's won 6 straight), Ole Miss(Bama's won 3 straight), Auburn (Bama's won 9 of the last 11), or SOUTH CAROLINA?
And as we all know, Bama wins most of those bloody contest well before the 4th Quarter.
Finebaum and Company can keep talking; I'm not listening.

Didn’t think those numbers looked right - Auburn has won 3 of the last 9 and 9 of the last 17.

You’re kidding right. I don’t understand when why people get offended over something like that. America is going down hill very fast and it’s because people get “offended” over the smallest of things. We need to go back to the days of it being okay to disagree and it not turning into a race thing, fighting with knuckles instead of shooting someone, and stop being so dang sensitive. And if anyone says I’m being to sensitive I’m not. I get annoyed over people saying my feelings are hurt over words or pictures.

i thought it was the SEC destroys their OOC opponents because they are "battle tested" and know how to play "big boy football" and Clemson is soft because we "don't play anybody" and only win by using "finesse" anyway.
it's so hard to keep up with what the ESPiN needs to be to help their little SEC baby.

It's hard to keep up with the different situations they are using. If they win, it's bc they are battle tested from playing in the SEC, If they lose, it's bc they were beaten up from playing in those battle tested games that was the reason they won... There is a word for what they do when making excuses for teams in the SEC, and it's called contradiction bc they use the toughness of their conference for winning and losing, and they insist on having both ways!!!

PF doesn't even know which end of the horse the oats go in and the end where they come out and we're expected to recognize him as an expert on football. Alabama will be "beaten up and blooded". By whom? No one in the SEC appears capable of doing that. Clemson will look like "they didn't have to wash their uniforms". That's either a put down of our opponents or admitting Clemson is much superior than their opponents. Aware of the bias PF has for anything not SEC, I accept his remark as a put down. I was not aware of the "no grass or dirt stains on our uniforms" rule by the ACC.
There is a simple way to avoid Alabama's problem. Anoint Alabama the automatic winner of the SEC. They will not have to play any games during the season to prevent them from getting beaten up and blooded before the playoffs.

Both teams had a 4-week break after our conference chips.
Is it Dabo's fault that OK "bloodied" the Tide worse than the Irish did us?
And speaking of grass stains, did Trevor have any at all after playing 56 minutes against the Tide? I know he wasn't sacked, and was rarely hit.
So please, Paul, don't pretend Trevor's clean uniform is some kind of indictment against the ACC.

Even when Trevor did get hit by 'Bammer he still threw touch down passes. Finebum is nuts. The only team that bloodied 'Bammer last year was Clemson.

Either bama plays a tougher schedule and is “battle tested,” or they play a tougher schedule and are “bloodied.” Either way, we both had the same time to prepare, and as I recall, TL’s Jersey was pretty clean at the end. So which is it???

I am looking for the fourth quarter info. I just found an article on the Heisman candidates from last year concerning snap counts. Dwayne Haskins 962, Kyler Murray, Tua 575. Please explain to me again how the elephants were worn out...

Based on the earlier article from SI, Clemson has 2 top 20 teams in the first 3 games Texas A & M (from the mighty SEC) and Syracuse. Bama’s first 3 games are Duke (a lowly ACC foe), New Mexico St., and the coots. Nice try PF.

Looking at the Bama schedule,
Aug 6, 2019, 9:12 PM

they play three possibly tough teams...aTm, LSU, and Auburn. We will see if those end up being any good.
There are some teams who may be able to make a case for having a stronger schedule as compared to Clemson's. And when you consider teh out of conference schedules, Alabama is not one of those teams.

By not having to play in the SEC championship? Instead they got an extra week to heal up from injury, and one less film against a quality opponent that other teams could use.

the year. the Bama schedule HYPE TRAIN is leaving the station, and needs to be derailed at every opportunity.
Credit to Colatown Tiger for the original framework for this post, but when I read the schedule it seemed so pathetic I had to take a closer look. Also, the next time a talking head tells you kids go to Alabama to play "Big Boy" football, be sure to slap them in the face.
The 2019 Alabama "Football" Schedule
Aug. 31: vs. Duke - the team that thrashed Temple (who apparently actually does play football) in their 2018 bowl to secure an impressive 8-5 record.
Sept. 7: vs. New Mexico State - a team that went 3-9 last year. ALTHOUGH, the previous year they went to their first bowl in 57 years with a 6-6 record and beat their opponent in overtime.
Sept. 14: at South Carolina – who got waxed by Virginia 28-0 in their 2018 bowl.
Sept. 21: vs. Southern Miss – who secured a healthy 6-5 season in 2018, after losing 42-13 in their 2017 bowl, the last in the “FSU Streak”
Sept. 28: vs. Ole Miss – who at 5-7 got as close as you can get to a winning record without going 6-6, and is still sanitizing the place from Hugh Freeze and his "Ole Miss Young Miss" escort escapades
Oct. 12: at Texas A&M – After a much needed bye week, mid October marks the official beginning of the Tide's football season with team that Clemson will have humbled and broken 6 weeks earlier.
Oct. 19: vs. Tennessee – the team that hopes to bounce back this year after being nationally shamed by Vanderbilt by more than three touchdowns in their 2018 season finale
Oct. 26: at Arkansas – We'll be pulling for The Chad alright, and pulling that he can get more than two wins like in 2018.
Nov. 9: vs. LSU – After a much needed 2nd bye week to recover from their grueling schedule, Alabama's season will be decided this week, or rather, whether or not they play in the SEC Championship game before they automatically secure a playoff spot.
Nov. 16: at Mississippi State – the team that lost to Iowa in the 2018 Outback Bowl
Nov. 23: vs. Western Carolina – I'm sure these are great kids with a lot of heart, but even at their level they only eked out 3 wins.
Nov. 30: at. Auburn – Auburn managed to finish 5 out of 7 in their division, secure a winning season, and even deny 6-6 Purdue a winning season by defeating them in the Music City Bowl.
So in summary, BAMA plays the victor of the Independence Bowl, the victor of the Music City Bowl, the loser of the Outback Bowl, the loser of the Belk Bowl, the two teams that played 7 overtimes to a 74-72 outcome, 3 teams that weren't even eligible for a bowl, and 3 teams that managed 3 or fewer wins. Welcome to Big Boy Football Mr. Recruit, where those marquee out-of-conference matchups the nation will be watching you in include Duke, New Mexico State, and Western Carolina.
Well, it is 12 games and two bye weeks so I suppose they'll be very tired by the time they get their well deserved playoff bid.
