My wife is pregnant with our third, we just found out a couple hours ago. We’re in our mid thirties, and I know I’ve shared this before, but we tried for years to get pregnant and ended up doing IVF twice for our two kids. We’ve been married almost 15 years and never used any sort of birth control, and now all of a sudden?
I’m not sure what to think. I’m thrilled! We’re settled and in a good place for it, certainly way better than the first two during residency. I’m kind of dumbfounded honestly.

I was 35 when we had our first and 38 on #2. My wife is 7 years younger than me, but being an old dad is still fun.
Grandad three times over now, ages 4 1/2, almost two and almost one year old boys. So, yeah, an even older grandpa.

We learned that nothing in the world is built for a family of 5. Hotel rooms aren’t, cars aren’t, restaurants aren’t… your whole life has just become a bigger PIA. 😀
But congrats - you won’t know what you’d have done without that 3rd…

J/K, brother. I was 40 when my last child was born. Pray it isn't a boy, girls don't want daddy to practice cheerleading and ballet with them. You won't even have to 'throw the baton,' around after work.
I was glad my last was a girl.
