I certainly wouldn't expect them to admit it, but in their hearts, I want the Coots to know and believe that Clemson Tigers has the better football program.

I agree.
I really wonder about people around my age that grew up pulling for co cks...how the heck does anyone decide "hey I believe I'll pull for that team that wins 5 games per year."
I don't understand that.

I said guys my age. When I was a kid, we were winning ACC titles and a championship. They were winning 5 to 6 games per year.
So, yes I do wonder why anyone growing up with me chose to pull for them.
Was it the colors, was it they preferred losing, what is they preferred c ocks like you?

I've often wonderered that myself, if your whole family pulls for them and that's how you were raised is one thing, but if your a 1st generation #### fan and chose them over anybody else, I just cannot for the life of me understand why.

of course they do, that explains the hatred. I have pulled for Clemson since 1975 (age 6) from a coot family luckily I saw the light.
up until around 2000 I actually felt more pity than hatred for them , but throughout the 2000's I grew to hate them more . since 2009 and all the bandwagon fans I now hate them with all my being. I'm pretty sure if they went to play aginst ISIS I would have to wear a turban for the game.

Well said. They really used to be of such very little relevance to me (or to anybody other than themselves, really), and they still are, except for the attention they get from being in the ESecheatPN conference.
