In that Clemson has some great future QB's, how is SC doing?

I know some of you chastise me for discussing the Coots so much..but I sent child to CU & to SC so I'm interesed even though a CU Grad, ex-The Tiger newspaper sports writer & 57 year Fan..and more importantly realize the path to our general & overall success ( in state & nationally ) goes thru Cola (SC knows & brags about this with 5 straight wins with not much else to show for it nationally).
Saying, they affect our recruitment, wins, bowls, growing a fan base thru success and contentment and of course making $.
With that said the QB is the main position for an entire football team imo..and as such can spell FUTURE success..so I think Clemon is set uP for some continued happy days & years to come..and wonder what's going on with our important in-state rival with their QB recruits (in house & committals)..especially since their HC is turning 70, possibly losing from 4-5 games and the starting QB is a Senior I believe.
What say You? TIA.
GoTiGERS...Light em uP Men!

In the sense he wasn't timid, was a competitor imo, a 2-way QB, good size & speed, great family FB history & support, Loved Clemson (maybe too much), etc.
Yes, he was/is emotional but that can be good & bad...and it got bad in DaBO's office.
Remember he was in a bad situation what with being caught in the Senior & Star scenario and being the 3rd man out.
Chad will do well (and is), win a ton of games and maybe 1 or 2 against us depending where he ends up.
GoTiGERS!

I got a queasy feeling about him from the beginning. Pretty much nothing was surprising when he was kicked off.

but he was a spoiled brat that had never been told no until he was kicked off of hs teams...and I have a feeling it was still the coach's fault

Two local radio talk show hosts (Reynolds & Gunter) who claim NOT to be gamecock homers started and are pushing that.

We thought the Clowney hat-stomping incident was big, can you imagine a Chad Kelly vs. Deshaun Watson Palmetto State battle? Epic.

Let's see - they have some guy named Perry Orth...

I think he's named after someone from Revenge of the Nerds. Then there's some other guy they recruited just because his name was also Connor. Stephen Garcia has a grandson now and they've offered him, even though he's only in 3rd grade (amazing how time flies, huh?) and can't technically sign yet. They're also in talks with a guy that works the drive-thru at the Bojangles near the stadium, some dude that only goes by "$$" (seriously, no name - just the $$ sign), a dude named Fudge (he's the crowd favorite from what I can tell) and a Coors Light display that Slurrier and Mangus saw on a road trip when they were drunk and fell in love with.
Think that's about it...

Nunez - plays for a decent program (Harrison HS) in a very good, competitive part of GA. Good athlete, more runner than passer in HS. Could be a good QB for them in a few years. Plays somewhat like Watson but not nearly as skilled of a passer, at least at this point.

Lorenzo Nunez- 5 pass TDs, 7 rush TDs last year

6-2 185. I'm guessing he was hurt or something last year. Very low numbers for a dual threat guy. Maybe the hype is based on potential. Most services have him as a 4 star guy, ESPN and one other have him as a 3 star guy. Phil Kornblutt has him as a 8 star guy, the next Tom Brady.

Lorenzo Nunez will be a solid fit for their system. Would have been even better at Clemson, but I'd take Israel/Bryant over Nunez pretty easily.

I am sure the old ball sack will find someone. He has had some great QB's(sarcasm) during his tenure as head lamecock.
