I admit I am addicted. I admit it leads me to some unsavory content at times.
But, as I have said before, when real sh*t goes down and you want real info in real time, Twitter simply cannot be beat.
Followed errthang from Biden incompetence to the assassination attempt to the soccer hooliganism and riots this weekend.
And most of it hit WAY before any MSM source and with 90% accuracy.

It doesn't work if it creates a conspiracy theory that takes on a life on its own and it causes years of pain and harassment from victims. Like the Sandy Hook Parents. Or Comet Pizza. Or Georgia election workers. Or everybody who has become a victim of Twitter lynch mobs and lost their jobs or had their lives otherwise ruined.

But accuracy rate is about 10%, not 90%, and the most accurate information comes from MSM sources who hit Twitter first before publishing.

The first headline I saw came on that SmartNews or whatever it is that Google sends me breaking news. It said "Trump rushed off stage after "disturbance" at rally." The article didn't even mention shots fired or anything of the like. I think they did have the bloody picture though, that kinda mess was designed to get the "It is a hoax" people fired up. I wish that would have stopped as soon as we knew two people died. It didn't.

Twitter (X) did not cover the kitchen fire at Surefire Neighborhood Market this weekend. Until they get back up and running, I'll have to rely on their food truck at Slow Play Brewing for my Retha Mae chicken sandwich and Capital Dogs. No other news this past weekend was quite as important.
