Thanks for a great summary David! I have already watched the 4th quarter replay 3 or 4 times, but the final drive is reminiscent of the 2 minute drive of the first Natty win with Watson at the helm!

You are right, we were in the end zone willing the Tigers to score one, more time. My only concern is that wouldn't use enough clock. Lewis solved that! Amazing 4th quarter. I cant say after the kickoff 100 yd return I wasn't getting down, but we hadn't even really started yet! 28 4th Q scores. So great.

Still can't believe we won. Thanks, David, for the article. Hope the win will be motivation for the off-season. A lot of work to do.

I've said that exact same thing, Klubnik grew up in that 4th quarter, and the game all of a sudden slowed way down for the kid, and he will be a totally different QB next season. I wouldn't be shocked at all if he ends up being one of the top 3 Heisman candidates next season, even though the Heisman has turned into a paper trophy with ESECPN and the sports media all around it, and it's no longer the John Heisman all around best player that done the most to help his team win, award anymore!!!

on their garbage behavior. It's important that people recognize we still have rules around common decency, even if breaking them doesn't earn you a penalty in a football game.

So true. The KY players acted like they were Bama. I was very confused. I kept looking over their schedule to see who they beat this year to give them such confidence and arrogance. Then I realized they play in the SEC. Enough said. I’m so happy we won. It would have been really difficult to listen to the chickens all off season tell us they beat KY and we couldn’t. Doesn’t matter we beat them they are so dumb the fact we might have lost to a common opponent would have given them reason to fluff their feathers.

C’mon now.
KY Jelly’s losses were to great SEC teams, including the Beamer Bunch.
A loss to a SEC team is as good as a victory against an ACC team.
Everyone knows that.

I thought Kentucky felt they had to be extra physical to show us ACC lowlifes they were the boss. I ran into another tiger fan who was at the game, that was his first comment to me about the "extra" chippy nature to their after the play antics.

Stoops is a chip on his shoulder, steel belt guy who was raised on toughness and fight... He's molded that program thru physicality and bullying... Even when it doesn't work, it still works.... I mean they almost won.
No reason to start fights but it's football.
