I'll certainly take that all time ranking. I am glad they made fun of the "claimed" national championships of the past. A few of Alabama's national championships are a joke. There are a number of teams with these made up championships. Clemson may only have 3, but they're real. We could have claimed 2 others, but I'm glad we didn't.

IMO REAL National titles should carry more weight than 10-win seasons

But that’s all rearview mirror stuff… we’ll win at least 2 National titles in the next 5 years and there will be no doubt where we rank.

I think Dabo can right the ship. He just needs to hire x and o coaches who are great recruiters or find some balance there. The problem is all on offense.

....even more surprised Michigan is #2 with 10 national titles. Then I realized why I couldn't remember any of their NC's.....LOL.
Michigan Football National Titles:
*** 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1918, 1923, 1933, 1948 and 1997. ***
I was born in 1972 and I only recall 1 Michigan outright National Championship, last year.
Most of their National Championships were won before WWI was concluded.
Might as well have just put Yale#1. They have 18.

Let's not live in the past or worry about "status". Focus on getting better with each practice, throw away the rose colored glasses, and KoolAid pitcher and work like crazy to take down UGa right out of the gate. Forget the hype and go to work!! Go Tigers!!!!!
