I’ll make my dumb prediction at some point here soon

But what do y’all think?


Will we be great and then slow down? Start slow and heat up? Stay consistently great all year and get to Omaha? Or completely disappoint?

Hey, when the coach admits to being loaded, I think it's fair to have expectations.

Granted, we're gonna find out pretty quick if the boys can hang or if they'll need some time to develop over the year.

Goal is Omaha so I'm just gonna say it.... Omaha or bust!

Totally agree with all your points. This is probably the toughest opening day games that I can remember since 20 something. Who knows what the coots have this year, but imo we won't know until the first couple of league series just how good we are. Everything points to this being a great Omaha bound team.

We have good mix of veterans and youngsters. Deepest arm talent since coach has been here. As coach said, we have 15 starters but only 9 can play. But that's Bakich Forte, management in the locker room. Opposite of Monte.

No matter how good we think the team is, you really never know until 20 or so games in. That being said I don't look for there to be any slumps for the team. I think we lose one here and there but are able to win on a consistent basis. Last year we didn't really slump even though we had some disappointing losses.
