I get that but.....how does a team go from being" probably the most balanced and efficient team " the previous week after not playing, therefore not doing anything to diminish its " percieved greatness" to being dropped/jumped by a Michigan State team with the same exact record. If Iowa had won, then jumping Oklahoma would have made sense but not this. Follow the $$$$.... this committee is aware of which 2 teams would bring the highest ratings and therefore the higer $$$$, yep, Alabama and Oklahoma. Neither Michigan State or Clemson is seen as dynasty programs. Just because you don't believe in conspiracies doesn't mean they don't exist! If $$$$ moves mountains, it can certainly rig a National Championship don't ya think?

I would believe the Playoff committee wants that conference

To get a championship game, and this is almost like a punishment for them to get one.
Also, Michigan state added a win against the #4 team. That probably helped their national perception a little bit

Had to have been the lack of a championship game

But I don't think they really thought MSU was better than OU.

That was my concern, that they did it to punish Oklahoma

for not playing a championship game instead of simply basing it upon who was the better team.

Well they obviously didn't do their job and screwed us in the process. MSU is, without a doubt, the weakest team in the field. We would have been favored in that game.

They said it was a close decision....

but the 13th game and the overall body of work were the deciding factors which is total BS IMO.
