think the moon landing was only 50 years ago when it was 54 years and 7 months, and probably think the earth is flat. It is shocking that anyone allows you to leave the house.

If it was faked the Russians would have called us on it immediately. And were all the subsequent trips staged too? If so, why fake the Apollo 13 disaster?
To me, its sad to discount one of the great scientific achievements in human history and perhaps the greatest American achievement ever based on nothing.

35mm film has an effective resolution of ~100 megapixels, which is still far better than the best iPhone camera. I imagine the film format they were using for the Apollo mission was substantially larger. It doesn't surprise me that the image quality would be a lot better than a camera streaming from the moon.
