First and foremost, I hope Trump is OK. And we'll find out who did this, and what drove the violence.
We also have a gun problem in this country. Yes, we have gun rights. I own guns myself. But we need to regulate guns much stronger than we do.
Finally, this is why it's not OK to make gay jokes about Paul Pelosi when his skull got fractured by a guy who wanted to commit political violence against Nancy Pelosi. There should never be any jokes about political violence.

is that there were some GOP members of congress & in positions of responsibility in the GOP who were making fun of the attack on Pelosi, which itself was also an attack of political violence.
I don't want anyone in the Democratic party to do the same about this situation.

Again, enlighten me about where any of this inappropriate humor led to today’s shooting, to the point that your vastly overestimated brain felt it was the most salient thing you could say in a post about Trump getting shot—sorry—“political violence”.
I DGAF about jokes. Jokes are harmless. Jokes are how people cope with the insanity of the world.
