Very odd that the offense looked like last years versus Garrett Riley’s offenses in the years past.

Also I think not only not using the portal is hurting but you can’t tell me we missed on every 4&5 star receiver and qb we landed. BUT let’s say they weren’t plug and play recruits how come they aren’t being developed. Is it because Dabo is hiring former players as position coaches instead of hiring proven coaches. I think the Riley and Eason hires were great but spiller, Tyler G, Thomas A and so on. Dabo needs to fix some things instead of being stubborn. Anyways GO TIGERS!!!

I would agree with dabo. If the video is correct and we do have 54 4 or 5 star guys we do not need the portal.

So, the problem is somewhere else.

Also interesting comment about dj leaving and playing for a better team.

I also do not think this team is as bad a the media is saying.

Agree. The 3 top tier program coaches don’t have a problem replacing assistants at a moment’s notice when repeated problems with fundamentals in the game continue.

The DTs were very underwhelming last season.

Austin - jury is still out - I'm not sure the OL is as big an issue as what's being said on here. 2H they were good upfront and creating bigger lanes. The 1H was a matter of straight runs vs reads that allowed Dukes front to have a LB free.

Spiller - I don't mind him - Shipley is not McCaffrey. So we need to stop pretending he is. Just keep him between the tackles. We had one fumble by the RB. Sucks, but it happens. I thought when they stayed in pass protection, they did pretty well. And they blocked well too out of the 2-back sets.

Grisham - gotta go

I agree that the biggest glaring issue we have right now is receivers and Jeff Scott has been gone since 2019 and it been a CLEAR drop off since his departure. We have landed a ton of 4 and 5 star receivers and I understand them not being ready made like a Sammy but they can’t all be duds to where they can’t be developed. Tyler is a clear coach that needs to be replaced.
